Leg Workout and S’mores Coffee

Good morning party people!

Life in Ocala got back to normal yesterday after a fabulous three day weekend. Ryan and I worked and then spent some time outside with Sadie after dinner.

On Monday we went scuba diving all day with my dad, two of my dad’s friends, my sister and her fiancé. We took all of the pictures from our scuba adventure with Ross’ camera and we’re having issues transferring them to a normal computer. (Apparently they were all shot in the raw mode, which makes this harder? I don’t understand cameras.) Anyway, my body was still quite tired from Monday’s activities yesterday, so I skipped my usual workout.

Today I woke up feeling rejuvenated and drove to the gym with Ryan at 5:15 a.m. for an early morning workout. I began with 20 minutes on the arc trainer before hopping off to complete the following leg workout:

It was a good one!

Breakfast

When we arrived home, I was grateful I prepared breakfast last night because I was more than ready to eat!

I topped a bowl of overnight oats with slivered almonds and a sprinkle of shredded coconut that I had leftover from the butterscotch banana bread oatmeal bites I made last week.

The highlight of my morning meal came in a coffee mug thanks to a new flavored coffee that I tried for the first time today.

Ashley’s positive reviews of this flavor encouraged me to buy it when I saw it on clearance at Target. It smells fantastic and tastes great! A solid recommendation!

After breakfast, Ryan and I met up with our landlord for a walk through of our house. We decided to renew our lease for another year and he needed to check things out before we signed the lease again. Everything looked okay and we’re good to go!

I hope you’re having a good day so far. It’s already Wednesday!

    I LOVE flavored coffee. We have a local chocolate shop and they sell all kinds of wild flavors. I really like their “Highlander Grogg” which tastes kind of butterscotchy. Just delicious. They also have a “Packer” blend – because we’re in Packer country here and that’s 1/2 Hazelnut and 1/2 French Vanilla. That’s a really good combo too!

    I’m not much for flavored coffee, but the butterscotch banana bread oatmeal bites sound great. How did I miss those?!? Must check them out!

    I am not a fan of flavored coffee. I have tried a few and so far none have done it for me. LOVE overnight oats though! Good choice.

    I love flavored coffee! My favorites come from a local coffee shop in my hometown. They have a banana nut java (coffee with banana and macadamia nut flavors) and an Elvis latte (latte with peanut butter and banana flavors) that are both fantastic!

    Mmm the s’mores coffee sounds great! Currently I’m loving a Hawaiian Hazelnut flavored coffee. It’s subtle, but adds SO much! I also love cinnamon flavored and pumpkin spice flavored during the fall/winter months.

    I bought that coffee a couple months ago and kinda hated it. I’ve read so many good reviews of it, though, that I’m wondering if it was the creamer I used that made me not like it. I still have the bag, so I may have to give it another try. Pumpkin is my, hands down, favorite flavor of coffee though – beyond pumped that it’s easy to find now!

    I haven’t had much luck finding good flavored coffees. But right now I am drinking Jamaica Me Crazy, which is infused with coconut I believe. It’s pretty good!

    I go in phases with flavored coffee – it’s easy to get too much of a good thing. But I always get a few packs of pumpkin coffee in the fall and usually some of the Christmas flavors. The next time I’m at Target I will be all over the s’mores – hey if it’s on clearance and I get a 5% red card discount, how can I not try it?

    girl, I am all about the flavored coffee…I must find that s’mores flavor.

    I would say that my favorites are french vanilla, irish cream, vanilla cream, and christmas cookie (as provided by my school’s library come christmas time)

    Ann Arbor has some really awesome coffee shops, so we are definitely spoiled in that regard!

    Mmm flavored coffee is delicious 🙂 Our favorite is from a local roastery up here called Rozark Hills, we buy the Snickee Doodle flavor. It tastes like a warm, snickerdoodle cookie 🙂 Perfection!

    S’mores coffee sounds like my kind of thing! Unfortunately, I have a Keurig, so I’d need to buy one of those little personalized filters for the machine where you can put in any coffee. I do like flavored coffee, but I’m very picky about it. If it tastes too artificial, I can’t drink it! I love the Cinnamon flavored coffee from Dunkin.

    However, my thing is creamers. I like to flavor plain coffee with creamers. My favorite at the moment is the York Peppermint Patty creamer. Yum, turns any coffee into a creamy treat!

      Creamers is definitely my thing too! I live in London now and coffee creamers are sadly non-existant here so I pack my suitcase full of the little individual international delight creamers to bring back!

    I LOVE LOVE LOVE flavored coffee! I’ve been trying to cut calories by drinking my coffee black and it seems like it’s the easiest transition for me. I’m a hazelnut lover, but I will definitely have to try that one out! I know you’ve got to be pumped that fall is around the corner 🙂

    Amazing workout! Gonna store that one. That breakfast looks delicious – smart by prepping ahead considering you went to the gym so early!

    I absolutely love flavored coffee. I’m a big fan of vanilla biscotti flavored coffee. It makes my whole house smell so yummy.

    The maple-vanilla flavor from Fresh Market is absolutely amazing. Just the right about of sweetness (no need for added sugar) and the smell makes any morning better!

    I love, love, love when fall comes around becuase I can’t get enough of pumpking flavored coffee 😀 BUT…I am heading to Target to see if I can find the Smores flavored coffee YUM!

    I go through phases where I drink flavored and then drink only regular. I think I would love smores! I love Green Mountain’s Golden French Toast as well as Caramel Vanilla Cream.

    I bought the same smores coffee on clearance at target. It is delicious and I can’t get over how yummy it smells when I open the bag! I went back to get another bag bit they ran out. Bummer

    Julie! S’mores coffee, that sounds so good. I’m not a big coffee person, but I do like flavored coffee because I don’t have to put a lot of sugar in it. Buuut…I’m big on chocolate, so enough said. lol

    Anything vanilla is my favorite type of flavored coffee. I love trying all types of new. I’m going to look out for the s’mores one at my Target!

    Not a huge fan of Smores, but I can dig on Hazelnut coffee! My 1/2 Chinese side would want me to say the Green Tea lattes at Pete’s are a favorite flavor. 😉

    This leg workout looks awesome! I currently am recovering from a fracture foot, but as soon as I get the okay from the doctor, I’m totally trying this out.

    That flavored coffee does look yummy; although, I’m not really a coffee drinker. I much prefer tea.

    S’mores coffee?!!! That souds too good to be true. I love the smell of flavored coffee but sometimes it’s too sweet for me.. I have the Donut Shop’s coconut mocha coffee, though, and it’s fantastic!

    Dunkin Donuts makes the best pumpkin spice coffee!! It’s so good and incredibly cheaper than getting a pumpkin spice latte at Starbucks. I prefer coffee anyways 🙂 RAW photos are harder to transfer but once you get them on there they will always stay in high quality and you can do amazing things in photoshop with them. JPEG photos continually lose pixels every time they are opened.

    I must admit the only two flavored coffees I enjoy are Pumpkin Spice and Coconut Mocha coffees; otherwise, I like a good dark roasted coffee! Did you see Target has a candy corn flavored coffee now? Lol, I can’t imagine how it tastes!

    I love the seasonal flavors of Pumpkin Spice and Egg Nog, though this summer, the stand by my house featured Salted Caramel which made for one killer iced coffee. Today, the weather here in Seattle finally turned beautifully fall-like after a gorgeously sunny weekend and I’m indulging in my first Pumpkin Spice latte of the season! So cozy.

    S’mores coffee?!? I might have to go to target today just to get some! Last week I got the Archer Farms Butter Caramel flavor and am super impressed with with it (its the the first flavored coffee I’ve bought from target.) Target is amazing!

    Hmm S’mores coffee sounds interesting! But I guess I go through phases with flavored coffee like other people. There was a time when I loved flavored coffee every morning but now I feel funny after drinking it so it’s only sporadic. 😉
