Lunch today included lots of pretty colors.
I topped a big bowl of spring mix with celery, carrots, two MorningStar Farms spicy black bean burgers and pomegranate dressing. I absolutely love using black bean burgers as a salad topper. They add so much flavor and the punch of protein helps fill me up!
The dressing I used on my salad was Marzetti’s simply dressed pomegranate vinaigrette that I bought on sale at Publix on Sunday.
I love this stuff and always stock up whenever I see a deal!
If you scrunched your nose up at the thought of black bean burgers and pomegranate salad dressing, I don’t blame you. It sounds like a totally bizarre combination, but oddly enough, it worked. I was craving black bean burgers but wanted a little sweetness in my salad, so I decided to combine the two and was pleasantly surprised.

My favorite flavor is the Tomato and Basil Pizza Burgers…ugh they’re SO good! Especially with barbecue sauce, I literally had one last night!
The morning star farms soy sausage crumbles are delicious! I don’t know if they still sell them, but they taste just like pork sausage!
I LOVE the black bean burgers, and garden veggie burgers too! My husband swore he would never eat a veggie burger, but he always steals my Morningstar Farms!
The maple flavored breakfast sausages are yummy! I also like the original breakfast sausages and black bean burgers! Yum!!

Hands down my most favorite Morning Star product are their veggie corn dogs :o) They taste soooo much better than regular corn dogs!! I will definitely have to try their black bean burgers!! I’ve also been wanting to try their Asian Veggie Patties but haven’t found them in our local stores!! :o)

Love the Veggie Italian Sausages! All the taste of a regular Italian sausage but minus all of the fat…nothing better!
I LOVE LOVE LOOOOVE Veggie burgers of any kinds… to me, they’re better than real burgers! I’ve also wanted to try veggie bacon (gotta love fake-on!) for a while… how about a veggie bacon burger, anyone?
The grillers are AMAZING but the black bean burgers knock their socks off.

I’d love to try the black bean burgers. I tried making my own and they fell apart terribly. My husband wouldn’t touch them with a 10 ft pole so it’s not something I’m going to spend the time making from scratch to prepare just for myself as it makes too much. I love the sweet/savory combinations…that looks really good!

I absolutely love Morningstar burgers! 🙂 I more recently have fallen in love with the spicy black bean burger, but my absolute favorite is the Garden Veggie burger. I’ve never tried it in a salad, but I like it smothered in spicy brown mustard and topped with a sandwich round (with steamed veggies on the side).
Absolutely LOVE the black bean burgers. I sometimes get them as a “treat” for us since they’re a little pricey 🙂

I love the Chipotle Black Bean Burgers. The flavor and texutre are perfect, I don’t find myself missing beef at all. Plus, I feel better about my decision afterwards.
I love the garden veggie burgers! They’ve got the right amount of flavor and texture and don’t taste like fake meat.

My favorite morning star product is a the garden veggie burgers! I fell in love with them over a year ago. Now, I have them with my lunch almost everyday!
I absolutely LOVE Morningstar!! I’ve been eating their Grillers patties since I went vegetarian in 6th grade. My current favorite is also the Spicy Black Bean Burgers on salads, they are fantastic! Everyone at work always follows the scent from the microwave to my office to see what I’m having for lunch; they’re always shocked to find out it’s a frozen patty!
