As always, this year’s gift guide includes gift ideas at a variety of price points and many gifts included are practical gifts because something it seems like the men in my life appreciate is a highly practical, very usable gift. I hope a couple of these gift ideas help you as you brainstorm ideas to help make the men in your life feel a little extra loved this holiday season.
Note: You may also check out my Amazon shop where you’ll find my Gift Guide for Him page for anyone who might want to reference it in the future for last-minute ideas and shopping.
And just in case you missed them, here are the first three gift guides I shared earlier this holiday season:
- Gift Guide for Her
- Gift Guide for Big Kids (ages 8-10)
- Gift Guide for Kids (ages 5 – 7)
- Gift Guide for Little Kids (ages 3 – 5)
PBF Gift Guide 2024: For Him
For the Outdoorsy Guy
- CORE Tent: The tent Ryan bought for our family after researching tents that are easy to put up and also have sections you can create within the tent for separate sleeping areas. It’s been the BEST tent for our family and I cannot recommend it enough.
- HEST Memory Foam Mattress: We ordered these after my brother-in-law raved about them and will never go back to a traditional air mattress. Great for camping but also high-quality and very comfortable if you need an air mattress for guests when they come to visit.
- Solo Stove: A smokeless portable fire pit my brother-in-law absolutely loves.
- Cordless Leaf Blower: Ryan’s love for this thing knows no bounds.
- Indoor/Outdoor Slippers: To wear around the house or at the campsite, these slippers are comfy with a water-resistant outer layer.
- Camping Hammock: Ryan even sets this up in our yard and the boys love it!
- Portable Rechargeable Hand Warmers: To keep his hands warm during any outdoor winter activity.
- Helinox Chair: The chair Ryan and my brother-in-law geek out over — great for everything from camping to tailgating.
For the Foodie
- Blackstone Griddle: The ultimate gift! I have yet to talk to one person who has one who doesn’t rave about it. (There’s also a smaller tabletop version I found that looks awesome and is less expensive.)
- Smash Burger Press: Because smash burgers are the best burgers.
- Epicurean Cutting Boards: One of the best things we bought this year. Slim, non-toxic, dishwasher safe and they don’t retain smells/flavors from food.
- Knife Sharpener: To make your knives slice like a dream. Electric knife sharpeners are amazing for a bigger gift but we have this cheaper knife sharpener that works very well, too! Bonus: Pair it with a new knife — we adore our Wusthof knives so, so much.
- Indoor Hydroponic Herb Garden: For fresh herbs year-round!
- Rolling Outdoor Cooler: I got this one for Ryan for Father’s Day last year and he loves it!
- Ember Coffee Mug: To keep his coffee or tea warm.
- Waffle Maker: Our favorite for making large batches of waffles to freeze and then toast during busy weekday morning.
- SMEG milk frother: The retro-inspired frother we have and love.
- Gooseneck Electric Kettle: Another one of our favorites for tea/pour-over coffee.
- Personalized Family Movie Night Popcorn Bowl: The boys gave this to Ryan one year and it’s super cute.
For His Closet
- Lululemon ABC Joggers: Ryan’s had his for years and they’re still in perfect condition. My dad and brother-in-law love them, too!
- Vuori Tuvalu Tee: I gave one to Ryan for his birthday 2 years ago and it quickly became his favorite tee. He now has it in multiple colors.
- Vuori DreamKnit Zip-Up Hoodie: A super-soft fall and winter layering staple Ryan wears all the time.
- Carhartt Beanie: A viral favorite for good reason.
- Vuori Insulated Hybrid Jacket: I ordered this for Ryan this year because he wants something “warmer than a sweatshirt but not at hot as a jacket” sooo this looked like a winning option.
- Nike Air Jordan Low Sneakers: Ryan wears his with everything.
- Columbia Jacket: Lightweight but still super warm.
- BOMBAS Sunday Slippers: Because anything BOMBAS is always a hit.
For the Sports + Fitness Fanatic
- Health/Exercise-Related Gift Certificate: For a stretch session, cryotherapy, IV hydration (I gave this to Ryan before and he loved it!), a sauna session, deep tissue massage, ski pass, etc.
- Driveway Pickleball Net: We were going to give this to the boys for Christmas but ended up getting it out early for Thanksgiving when we had family in town and we all had so much fun playing pickleball in our driveway!
- Collegiate/NFL Team Blanket: I bought one of these blankets for one of my friends who is a super-fan of her college team and think it would be such a cozy, fun gift for a guy who loves a certain collegiate or professional sports team.
- Kickpack Rocker: For dad or grandfather who never misses cheering for his kids/grandkids on the sideline. We love this chair!
- Custom Golf Course Watercolor Painting: A beautifully personalized gift for a golf-lover (pair it with a Custom Golf Ball Stamp!)
- Athletic Socks: Ryan’s favorites are BOMBAS’ ankle socks and their performance calf socks.
- Fitness Apparel: Lululemon Linerless Shorts (Ryan and my brother-in-laws’ favorite) / Under Armour Compression Shorts (Ryan wears these under his shorts for all of his workouts) / Under Armour Heat Gear Leggings (for outdoor winter workouts — these are the running tights Ryan wears under his shorts for winter running)
- Massager: What area does he mention bothers him most? His back? Feet? Hands? There are so many massage options out there to choose from! We love our Hypervolt and I got Ryan the Theragun mini to keep at work last year. This neck and back massager also looks great!
- Owala Water Bottle: Our family’s favorite!
- Fitness Watch: Garmin Forerunner (Ryan loves his and we got one for my dad and he loves it, too) / Apple Watch / WHOOP Fitness Tracker
- Recovery / Fuel Favorites: I love filling Ryan’s stocking with some of his fitness fuel/recovery favorites including: Ultima Electrolyte Powder / Honey Stinger Waffles / Salted Watermelon CLIF Blocks / Ka’Chava All-in-One Shakes
For the Music-Lover
- Vintage Records + Bluetooth Record Player: I gave this to Ryan for our anniversary last year paired with records that meant something to us and he loved it.
- Custom Guitar Strap + Personalized Guitar Pic Holder
- Record Holder: To keep his records organized.
- Headphones: Apple AirPods / Bone Conduction Headphones (perfect if he doesn’t want anything in his ears) / Bose QuietComfort Wireless Headphones (comfortable, noise canceling and perfect for work, listening to music, podcasts, etc.)
- Marshall Bluetooth Speaker: As beautiful as it is useful and the sound quality is amazing.
- JBL Ultra Portable Waterproof Speaker: For listening on the go, in the shower, etc.
For the Traveler
- Personalized Luggage Tags: These are so unique!
- Samsonite Freeform Luggage: Our favorite hardside luggage.
- Burton Low Maintenance Kit: I bought this for Ryan after seeing him use a clear plastic bag for his toiletries. Great for a no-fuss, low-maintenance man to keep his toiletries organized.
- TUMI Backpack: A big splurge but Ryan loves his so much and uses it for work every single day and also takes it on all of his work trips. I’ve borrowed it for travel and can attest it is expertly designed and the quality is unparalleled.
- Cord and Cable Organizer: To keep chargers and cords organized.
- NodPod: For quality sleep while traveling. This has been a sleep game changer for me and helps so much with my middle-of-the night wake-ups.
