Today’s gift guide focuses on gift ideas for the men in our lives and I hope something pops out at you for your dad, husband, uncle, son, brother, boyfriend, grandfather, in-laws and the father figures in your life.
Happy Holidays!!!
PBF Gift Guide for Guys
Ryan ordered this mystery box for my brother-in-law for Christmas and I thought it was such a clever idea. (Hopefully he doesn’t randomly stop by the blog today!) The box is $150 but it’s filled with $300 worth of items selected by Suitsupply stylists. The box can be filled with everything from sunglasses and socks to cufflinks, ties and a wallet.
This hammock consistently receives great reviews and is a wonderful gift for anyone who likes to spend time outside. Useful for camping, festivals, trips to the lake or beach, hiking, lounging around in the backyard and more, the material is durable and the hammock is strong enough to hold two adults.
Is it just me or do guys seem to appreciate simple, practical gifts the most? My brother-in-law raves about his carryall phone case and loves it for the way it streamlines carrying his phone, license, credit cards, etc.
- Plan a Fun Activity
Ryan and I love experience-based gifts and this gift idea depends on the guy you’re planning to surprise over the holidays! For a husband, fiancé or boyfriend, consider something like a weekend away to a nearby town you’ve wanted to explore or a fun activity that lets you act like kids again, such a laser tag, a visit to an Escape Room, etc. For your father or father-in-law, something like planning a trip to Top Golf or a local winery might be a neat way to spend some quality time together!
This home brewing starter kit includes everything you need to successfully brew your first batch of beer, including equipment, a recipe, bottles, an instructional DVD and more. Northern Brewer also offers a Micro Brew All-Grain Starter Kit which walks you through making your own one-gallon all-grain beer.
If the men in your life are more into cocktails than the idea of home brewing, these portable cocktail kits are a fun way to give them something quirky but useful. Cocktail Kits are available in a variety of cocktails (Moscow Mule, Bloody Mary, Old Fashioned, etc.), making them easy to personalize depending on the guy in your life’s favorite drink.

Love your gift guides! I was looking for a kid one, did you do one this year? Our sons are about the same age (Fletcher turned 2 August 24th) so I love seeing what you love/recommend!

Great ideas! I struggle the most with men gifts! That cocktail set is neat and I love experience gifts too–especially for a dad and mom gift.

Guys are so hard to shop for, so far I have a flannel shirt and a honey variety pack for my hubby. LOL wife FAIL!

Gotta tell you – Sprezzabox is WAY cheaper than Suit Supply and same general idea (and not super cheap items either!) I ordered one and got a bonus box free. Will follow up when they arrive if they’re as awesome as they seem 🙂

I’ve never heard of them but will check them out! Thanks for the tip!!

Another collection of great ideas! I actually received that hammock as a gift last Christmas and it was so convenient to take on our camping trip over the summer! (And wayyy more comfortable than sleeping on the ground in my sleeping bag!)

These are all great gifts! Love that hammock!!! Guys are always so hard to shop for, my husband usually just tells me “get me anything” which is so annoying! Girls are much easier to shop for and I usually give my husband a list of what he could get me, or (like this year) I picked something out! Xoxo

Experience gifts are my favorite ones to give and receive. My brother gave my boyfriend and I tickets to a Calgary Flames hockey game on Valentine’s day one Christmas.

I thought I was done shopping for my hubby, but had to order him the hammock after reading your post. Thanks for the great idea!!

I bought a brewing kit for my Dad and uncle and was shocked at how many different ones there are available!I totally have to keep the suit supply box in mind for future gifts! Love all of these Julie.

I actually got that exact hammock as a gift for somebody already this Christmas! Just a note for anyone else who is considering it – it doesn’t come with the straps that you need to attach it to a tree, you need to buy them separately! It says so in the small print on the listing, but I didn’t see it at first. Unless the person you’re gifting this to already has straps, you’d probably want to buy those too.

I’ve seen the carry on cocktail in stores and it seems like a neat, convenient concept. Love the hammock idea!
