Today’s mid-day meal included a pork sandwich made with tomato, broccoli slaw, stone ground mustard and leftover pork.
Hump Day Lunch
The sandwich was great, but my side was even better.
Cucumber Salad
Seriously, lovin’ this mix. If you’re in the mood for a light and refreshing way to incorporate some yummy veggies into your diet, this cucumber salad is the way to go.
I devoured this meal in no time flat. It’s a gift! 😀

Mmmm….I had leftover pork today too for lunch! Pulled pork — so delicious!
now i am going to have “we’re tiny, we’re toony, we’re all a little looney…” stuck in my head the rest of the day! haha
Looney Toons was the best! My favorite character would either be Tweety or the Road Runner. (Meep-meep!)

I loved tiny and looney tunes. I loved Babs!!! Does anyone remember The Snorks? They lived under water and had snorkles on their heads. I watched that every morning while eating my instant oatmeal as a kid. Aww memories….

So, random question. All your crock-pot meals are inspiring me to think about buying a crock-pot. what size and type of crockpot do you have? i’m only cooking for two people so i don’t want a big one and i’m not sure what to look for because i’ve never used one before.

no prob! since there’s just 2 of us, we use the 2 qt. the most. but if i were going to buy one size, i’d probably buy the 4 qt. size for when i want to make chili and roasts. 🙂
Although I hated Loony Toons, I LOVED Tiny Toons! To this day, I still refer to elevators as “elelators” in my head because of that show! “MY elelator! Not YOUR elelator! MY elelator!”
I wasn’t a huge Looney Tunes fan growing up (I much preferred Disney characters). Still, I did like Buggs Bunney. I still like to eat my carrot like did and say, “Eeeh, what’s up doc?”
I do remember Tiny Tunes! It had the best theme song EVER – although if it gets stuck in your head, it might be a *tad* annoying!
I watched it some as a kid but don’t remember a lot about it…I love reliving old tv shows though!

yes! delicious! ingredients: water, mustard seed, distilled vinegar, sugar, mustard flour, honey, garlic, salt, lemon juice, citric acid, xanthan gum, spices. YUM!
I reeeeally don’t like mustard, but I have found I do like stone ground! It is kinda sweet!

I’m a fan of pork sandwiches and Looney Tunes! And yes, I remember Tiny Toons, though, I was grew up on the originals. I still love watching classic cartoons on DVD and Boomerang. 🙂
I loved Sylvester! I also remember owning (and loving) an oversized Tweety t-shirt that I wore with biker shorts. Do you remember those?? I was a stylish 9-year-old.

Tweety was (and still is!) my absolute favorite!! My mom gets me a Tweety Bird ornament for our Christmas tree every year, and my best friend just bought me a cute Tweety shirt she saw on sale at Kohl’s (No, it wasn’t in the kids department)!
OMG Sylvester was my FAV- his lisp MADE MY DAY! i also really liked bugs bunny- cuz i love carrots and he does too 😀
is it weird if i think looney toons (and many other cartoon characters) are creepy?? maybe it’s just me, but i just find it weird…except disney characters 🙂
Bugs! I grew up watching looney toons with my dad. We just talking the other day about how all the good cartoons are good. What kids watch today is so different.

I totally watched Looney Tunes. I actually caught some awhile back and was shocked by how violent it can be! lol, I never thought about that part as a kid. Oh and the constant molesting and attempted rape by Pepe Le Peu? Geez… 😉
