I would say I don’t know why they don’t get more attention… but I do. It’s because they’re more than a dollar more per pound than green peppers! Blasphemy!
Still, sometimes the pretty peppers are worth the extra dough. I guess sometimes you just want to enjoy something bright orange in the middle of October!
Along with a sliced orange pepper, my lunch included a honey mustard chicken salad wrap.
I made the chicken salad by combining honey mustard with a sliced chicken breast. I placed the chicken on a bed of broccoli slaw before rollin’ it up and chowing down.
Good lunch!
Mighty Leaf Tea Giveaway
I know it may sound silly, but something about this cooler weather makes me feel warm inside.
Maybe it’s because I know the days of sweating five seconds after you step out the door are (mostly) gone, or maybe it’s because I know that with cooler weather comes the holiday season. Whatever it is, I’m loving the comfy, cozy feeling of fall.
Along with big sweaters and fuzzy boots, a hot mug of tea enjoyed this time of year takes me to a place of warmth and comfort. When I was contacted by Mighty Leaf to try a sample of the company’s fall teas, I was more than game.
I was already a fan of the company’s chocolate mint truffle tea (I bought it at Whole Foods and blogged about it last October), so I was excited to try new flavors.
The first one up to bat? Vanilla bean!
I enjoyed a hot mug of this tea with my lunch today and it was tasty and warmed my insides right up!
Now it’s your turn to try!
Mighty Leaf is offering one reader the following items:

It’s a toss up between chai and peppermint…I love them both! (and both green and black varieties are great!)
I loving peach tea right now. With a little bit of honey and a squeeze of lemon, it’s a perfect post-dessert dessert!
When it gets colder I’m looking forward to drinking Gingerbread and other holiday-flavored teas.

Vanilla Tea is the best! Warm flavor and very tasty 🙂 Love it in the Fall!

I am all about ginger tea. So good 🙂
I love anything with yerba mate for that extra kick of caffeine!
Yogi makes great teas – the Pomegranate is my favorite, but the Goji Berry is a close second.
It’s a toss up between Mandarin Orange Spice tea and Warm Apple Cinnamon tea – which always gets me into the holiday spirit! Isn’t it silly that we’re in the holiday spirit here in Central Florida and it’s still like 83 degrees outside!?! 🙂
I love a big mug of Chamomile tea before bed
I love ENGLISH BLACK TEA w/ tsp of raw honey COLD!
I love Spiced Chai Tea and LOVE Yogi brand teas. I need to try Mighty Leaf!

My favorite tea is roasted Maté. So good!!
I LOVE Mighty Leaf’s camomile citrus tea. It has whole heads of camomile and real citrus peels. I always used to drink it while studing in college.
My favorite is honey vanilla chamomile…perfect right before bed!

The Vanilla Bean from Mighty Leaf is my favorite 🙂 So good!
I found a vanilla orange rooibos tea at WF that I love. Othewise chai is always a favorite!
I loved a house made tea from Trish’s Tea house in Orlando called Josephine’s Dream…it had vanilla and cinnamon flavors and was absolutely divine. I do love Mighty Leaf’s teas, they are very tasty!
I’m a big tea fan. I love the expensive loose-leaf stuff, but usually I buy the cheap supermarket kind. Green tea with pomegranate is my go-to variety.
My favorite would definitely have to be chai! Decaf though…because it doesn’t stand up to my love of coffee and I don’t want to be bouncing off the walls more than once a day. I would love to incorporate some new teas into my late afternoons.
My fav tea is the Yogi Mayan Cocoa Spice- served with a little bit of milk and honey!
My favorite is Candy Cane Lane…i buy boxes of it during the holidays and savor it all year long! What makes is different, decaf green tea with the slight hint of candy cane 🙂 Reminds you of nights by the fire during the holiday season!
Those teas sound fabulous! My favorite tea is apple cinnamon. Perfect for fall!
Lately, I’ve been loving chia tea. Though, I love all of the Mighty leaf teas, too!
Oops, I meant chai tea, not chia tea! 🙂
My favorite tea: vanilla!
My boyfriend and I have a nice little ritual of sipping on Trader Joes Bedtime tea while relaxing and watching a movie before bed. I love it!!
I love Starbuck’s calm tea
I love Yogi Tea’s Kombucha Green Tea.
Love chia! Also pomegrante green tea! The first time a tried chia tea it was in a latte…full of calories! Then I tried the tea and realized it was just as good! The pomegrante green tea gives you antioxidants PLUS the great flavor! I would love to sample! 🙂
I love chai, but the chocolate mint truffle sounds amazing.
Ginger or peppermint! These two always make my tummy feel better and warm me up with a bit more of a kick than a traditional sweeter tea.
I actually love Mighty Leaf tea. My favorite is the Green Tea Tropical. I also really like the Vanilla Bean 🙂
Vanilla Bean Mighty Leaf is the best ever! I found this at a little coffee shop in NY (Financier) and ever since I’ve been in love. Unfortunately for my grad school loans, I cant afford to buy the very expensive mighty leaf for home. It’s so indulgent, makes me melt inside thinking about it. I think I love it SO much because it reminds me of vanilla bean ice cream for winter. YUM!
I love Mighty Leaf Vanilla Bean tea–it’s my go-to on a chilly San Francisco day!
Chai Tea it is! The smell and taste are perfect for this time of year!!
Celestial Seasonings Sweet Coconut Thai tea is delicious! I like it with a splash of milk and some stevia. It’s the perfect Fall drink, and it’s decaffeinated, too, which makes it a tasty midnight snack.
Love, love, love chai tea! It’s great iced in the summer and hot in the winter!
My fave is Stash Vanilla Nut Creme tea because it’s decaf, therefore perfect with a sweet snack before bed 🙂
Living in China I drank buckets at a time of Dragon Well loose leaf green tea (longjing cha), but over here it costs so much I wish I’d shipped home a lifetime’s supply before leaving! It is the mother of all teas, not for taste but for physical benefits, one cup and you feel like superwoman!
I am a green tea queen!
