Today I completed quite the accomplishment.
I finished off an entire box of cereal by myself in 24 hours. Well, Sadie had one serving this morning because I was bribing her with food in hopes of being her favorite parent of the day.
Ryan who?
I told you I have zero control around cereal! It’s no joke!
Despite eating a bazillion servings of cereal today, I was still hungry for dinner tonight.
Dinner
Ryan and I revisited the salmon with raspberry glaze dish that we enjoyed so much two weeks ago and it was just as good as we remembered.
This time we subbed trout for the salmon and it was just as tasty.
On the side we enjoyed steamed Brussels sprouts topped with garlic salt and Parmesan cheese.
The sprouts were good, but I definitely prefer roasted Brussels sprouts. I love it when they get all crispy and really missed that aspect of the veggie this evening.
Dessert included two squares of Guylian milk chocolate.
So good!
Wedding Fun
My friend Leah is getting married in July and is thinking about wearing blue shoes on her wedding day as her “something blue.” Since I am apparently going through wedding withdrawals now that our wedding is over and love shopping for shoes as it is, I jumped at the chance to send Leah a link to a pair of beautiful heels I found made by the same designer that made my pink satin wedding shoes.
Check ‘em out!
So pretty, huh? Well, Leah is a bit concerned about the heel height, so I figured you guys and your savvy ways might have come across some pretty blue shoes in your day. Feel free to post links to websites or blog posts where you’ve seen some blue beauties!
And with happy wedding thoughts running through my brain, I’m off to relax with my husband.
Goodnight!

I’m not sure if your friend is going for this bright of blue, but I think these are fabulous – and with a much lower heel.

Yumm I’ve been eating a ton of steamed veggies lately. My fave is steamed zucchini with parmesean on top like you did with the brussels. Just had that last night with broccoli!! yumm!

Those are cute shoes! But I definitely wouldn’t wear heels that high, but I’m biased, because I wore flats to my wedding.
Yes, I’m 5’4” my husband is 6’8” and I wore flats. I wanted to be comfortable! 🙂

It wouldn’t happen to be a beach wedding, would it? If so, how perfect would these be?

Julie.. it’s Liza Lowe, from UCF! My wedding is March 26 and I am wearing those exact shoes!! How funny! They are to die for in person… but yes, the heel is very high. However, they are so gorgeous that when I got them in the mail (zappos.com) I couldn’t bring myself to send them back. I’m determined to tough it out for at least the first half! 🙂

She should check out Steve Madden shoes. I wore blue suede flats for my wedding this July – they were amazing! My feet never hurt and I didn’t have to worry about how uncoordinated I am in heels 🙂
