Today something very special arrived in the mail from Sadie’s grandma.
Doggie Christmas pajamas!
Apparently my mom caught wind of my love for these adorable red pajamas and sent them to us in a package addressed to Sadie Fagan.
How stinkin’ cute does she look?
The little booty is my favorite part.
As I’ve mentioned on the blog before, it’s tradition in my family to receive new Christmas pajamas on Christmas Eve. Now Sadie will fit right in with everyone in their Christmas jammies!
I’m so grateful I have a dog that likes to wear clothes (and actually needs to quite often in the winter for warmth).
After I took pictures of Sadie in her new duds, I took them off of her because it was too warm to actually warrant dog clothes today. I’m hoping for a much colder Christmas, but I’m not holding my breath.
Dinner
Dinner came after several rounds of frisbee in the backyard with Sadie.
We had my favorite healthified version of sloppy joes, served with roasted green beans.
It was a good one!

Sadie looks too freaking cute!!!! That is adorable that she likes to wear clothes, anytime we tried to put clothes on my yellow lab she had a fit.

I had the same tradition growing up with the pjs! We don’t really follow it much anymore now that my sister and I are grown up and I’m out of the house though.

Oh goodness those are so cute! I wish my dogs would wear fun holiday clothes. But when I try they walk around stiff legged and look at me like I’m killing them.

That may be the cutest thing I have ever seen! I have to get pj’s for my pup, too! He is a punk though, so I don’t think he’d be as willing as Sadie to keep them on. (He does, however, shiver when I put him outside, so maybe he would! haha)

What an adorable PJ out fit for your pup. She looks adorable. My cat hates when we try to dress him up. He’ll usually put up with it for awhile but then give the most most evil glare you have ever seen!

Oh my, I haven’t had a sloppy joe in ages! Looks so good. Sadie is so cute. My dog hates when I put clothes on him, but once they’re on, he gets mad if you try to take them off. Looks like he realizes how cold it is with that ridiculous argyle sweater 😛
OK, I have to admit that Sadie looks quite pleased to be wearing jammies and I definitely laughed at the photo! I’m not usually a fan of dog clothes, but probably because my pups are always beasts who would disown me if I tried.
Speaking of, the Rox-monster just gave me the side-eye and said “Don’t even think about it, woman. My street cred would be ruined!”

Doggie PJs are simply the cutest. My three furry babies wear them every year at Christmas. I love the little bum part on Sadie’s! Too cute!

You’re lucky she likes to wear clothes! I bought pajamas like that for my dog and sent him outside. Five minutes later he was at the door to come in with no pajamas in site.

It took me I think until I was 13 or 14 to realize that the one Christmas present I got on Christmas Eve would ALWAYS be pajamas. Until then I never gave up hope it might actually be a toy.

My family does the same thing with Christmas pj’s every year. We all put them on Christmas eve night and take pictures in front of the tree with santa hats on. Such a great tradition. I love that ya’ll do it as well!

I got my dog those pajamas too! Along with a pair of boy pajamas for my brothers dog in hopes for a cute christmas morning with all of us in our PJs, but sadly they aren’t long enough for my pup and def wouldn’t fit my brothers dog either. Therefore I’m hoping plan B works, dressing Lola (my dog) as mrs santa paws and Murphy (my brother’s dog) as mr santa paws. Crossing my fingers that they fit this time!
