This morning’s workout was so much fun!
My sister, Leslie, arrived in town a little after 10 p.m. last night and was game for an early morning workout, so around 5:15 a.m., we headed to the gym to work up a sweat.
Ryan, Leslie and I began with 20 minutes on the elliptical before Leslie and I hit the weight room to do three sets of 15 repetitions of the following upper-body exercises:
- Superset One: Tricep dips, Ryan’s awesome shoulder move
- Superset Two: Upright rows, Tricep extensions
- Bicep curls (non-stop for 3 minutes)
- Chest press on exercise ball
- Superset Three: TRX bicep curls, Overhead press
We also threw some ab work in there and were feelin’ the burn!
While at the gym we had three different people come up to us saying they knew immediately that we were sisters. Leslie and I laugh because people either think we look so much alike or nothing alike at all. Apparently in our twin spandex capris and ponytails we looked alike this morning.
One thing is for sure… we have the same lame amazing dance moves.
I’ll never forget drunk dancing in a bar during my bachelorette party and looking over to see my sister doing the exact same moves. We’re a treat!
Breakfast
After the gym, we came home and each enjoyed a yummy egg sandwich and some corn Chex cereal for breakfast.
Yum!
We wanted to have a hot breakfast because the temperatures dipped into the 40s last night and Leslie and I wanted to take Sadie on a walk after breakfast with warm food in our bellies!
Since vizslas don’t have an undercoat, they’re very sensitive to cold temperatures, so we bundled Sadie up in her pink puffer vest before heading out.
It cracks me up how much this dog loves clothes. She literally places her paws into jackets and gets so excited when she knows we’re going to put her in a sweater or t-shirt. Maybe that’s another reason she loves the Thundershirt?
Our walk was cold, but fun. I loved having my sister to talk to… not that Sadie isn’t a riveting conversationalist.
Off to hang with my sister!
We have big plans for the day…
Happy Veteran’s Day!

Oh Sadie… I LOVE YOUR VEST!! I want one! That so funny that she loves clothes! And lame dance moves are THE BEST.
I love working out with family & friends! It’s just extra fun!

I love exercising with my sisters, too! It’s so much fun to have buddies to talk to and laugh with. We also get those two extremes too. People either say all 3 of us look alike or that we look nothing like on another!

That picture of you and your sis dancing is too cute!! Def a framer for sure!! And Sadie looks so proud in her vest! Love it!! Have a blast hanging out with your sister today! Can’t wait to see what you bake up!

Oh, I wish my dog liked wearing clothes more! I wouldn’t dress her up all the time, but I have this amazing yellow rain slicker that really would come in handy on wet days. She hates getting wet, but she hates her rain coat.
I made the mistake of buying a hat for her Halloween costume (it was a safari hat with Mickey ears — so cute!), and she refused to wear it. It took several photos sessions and many hours to get one decent photo. I kept chasing her around saying, “it’s just a hat, it doesn’t hurt you! why can’t you just keep your head still for a minute??” Good times.
I’m glad Sadie is more of a fashionista than my Audrey 🙂

I think you definitely do look like sisters, although not quite alike. What is your age difference?

Ha, my dog hates clothes. He has a cute little sweater we put him in sometimes when it’s really cold, but he’s so fidgety when you try to put it on. He does, however, get quite excited when his harness comes out–walk time!
Ever since my sister was born we’ve had people tell us we look exactly alike. I remember when we were little random people would come up to my mom in the grocery store and ask if we were twins o.O . Personally, I would think the different hair colors, different face shapes, different eye colors, and all-around looking different aside from the whole two eyes a nose and a mouth thing would keep people from thinking we’re twins, but apparently not!

My puppy LOVES his clothes as well. Doesn’t like it when we take it off – defiantly when it’s cold out 🙂

Sadie looks adorable! I was at Target the other day and I saw a little Christmas doggie dress, maybe you’ve seen it. But I immediately thought of Sadie and how cute she would look in it
