They understand how strong one’s love for cookies can be and make sure to snag extra cookies at every opportunity to share with their fellow cookie lovers!
Today I was fortunate enough to enjoy these two shortbread cookies thanks to a man who nabbed them for me from his company’s private luncheon and gave them to me to enjoy as I prepared my snack in the break room that our companies share. Score!
They were the perfect appetizer. 🙂
Lunch
Lunch today included a big ol’ salad.
In the mix:
- Broccoli slaw
- Rotisserie chicken deli meat
- Chopped red pepper
- Kraft light Asian toasted sesame dressing
I love this dressing! It makes any salad taste like a delicious restaurant-quality Asian salad.
Now I am off to cram in another couple hours of work before the weekend.
I’m really looking forward to this weekend because Ryan and I are celebrating Valentine’s Day tomorrow with our annual Valentine’s Day Mission followed by a fancy-schmancy dinner. Our wonderfully romantic dinner last year will be a tough one to top but we’re gonna try. We’re ambitious like that. 😉
(P.S. The Fashion page was updated earlier this afternoon!)

Awww that’s so sweet! Hope your dinner tops last years! 🙂

Everyone at work always knows me as “the eater” so I’d often get free food bestowed upon me 🙂 I never complained!!
Laura @ prettylittlewords says
I’m not a huge fan of Asian/sesame-flavored salad dressings, but I’ll have to try that one out! I’m usually boring and just do balsamic + EVOO 🙂 Have a great date!!

And my “cookies” for today are the 7 new flavors of SPREAD peanut butter that arrived in the mail today.
Wow, so delicious and I’ve only opened one of them 🙂
Geraldine says
The cookies look almost too good to eat.
My boyfriend is anti-Valentines Day and refuses to take part in “this over-marketed Hallmark-created event blah blah blah”! Annoying, right? I’m so jealous of your mission. I want Valentines pressies!! 🙂
Caitlin (EatFeats) says
A pink cookie that sparkles is the best kind of cookie. I wish the feminine glitz of Valentine’s Day was more available year-round.
