Back in November I had the wonderful opportunity to travel to beautiful San Francisco and tour the Stitch Fix headquarters with a fabulous group of bloggers.
(Jenna, Kacia, me, Gina, Raechel)
From the moment we arrived and stepped foot in the beautiful townhouse we all shared for the time we spent in the city, I knew the trip was going to be special. Everyone we met at Stitch Fix was so kind and welcoming and they absolutely radiated enthusiasm for the company and fashion.
I detailed our time in San Francisco in my two recap posts, so you already know that we had the chance to help out at the warehouse, pack fixes to send out and chat with employees about day-to-day operations.
This is a seriously hard-working group of people. But they all know how to have fun and do things like build robots out of old boxes.
I had the best time joining my blogging friends as we were given a behind-the-scenes look at the beautiful clothes and accessories.
Ooooh the clothes!
If you missed my previous posts or are unfamiliar with the company, Stitch Fix (<—referral link) is a personalized styling service. You create a style profile by answering various questions about yourself and then schedule a “fix” to be sent to your home. A stylist then selects five items they think you will love to send your way based on your style profile.
The styling fee is $20 per fix but you can apply that toward the item(s) you want to buy, should you choose to keep anything from your fix. (If you keep all five items in your fix, you receive 25 percent off everything.) Return shipping is free, so you can easily send back whatever you don’t want by placing everything in the big return envelope that comes with every fix. It’s a really awesome concept and the company is growing like crazy!
I am still relatively new to Stitch Fix and have received four fixes to date.
This was my very first fix:
I honestly feel like my fixes are getting better and better! I try to provide detailed feedback on each fix when I send certain items back which I think allows my stylist to understand my preference and know what items I tend to gravitate toward in each fix. She has been nailing the jewelry and accessories I continue to find in my fixes lately!
This bracelet is a personal favorite:
And this dress is so crazy comfortable that I feel like I’m wearing pajamas every time I slip it on:
And these fun red skinny jeans brighten up any outfit:
If you haven’t tried Stitch Fix yet – or even if you have – I think you will enjoy the next part of this post!
How about a giveaway?
Stitch Fix is offering gift cards right now and I think they would make a fabulous gift for those in your life who love clothes and accessories or those who like cute clothes but never have time to shop for themselves. Stitch Fix gift cards are more than your basic gift card to a clothing store since a stylist will be picking out the pieces you will receive based on your style profile and items they think you will love!
And now I want to give FIVE of you a Stitch Fix gift card to enjoy!!!
Five PBF readers will receive a $100 gift card to Stitch Fix as a thank you from me. I’ve accumulated some credit to Stitch Fix thanks to you guys using my referral link which I really appreciate and I would love to share the love.
To enter this giveaway, simply comment below telling me what type of clothing or accessories you’d like to see in your fix should you win. Do you need a new sweater? A fun cross-body bag? A dress for New Year’s? A chunky bracelet? Let me know!
I will randomly select five winners on Thursday. Good luck and happy holidays!!!
Please note this giveaway is open to those in the U.S. only, as Stitch Fix is still only shipping to U.S. addresses at this time.
I want a statement outfit. Something that I put on, people turn their heads.
Fun tops! I’m so bad and picking them out!
I am in desperate need of some dressier clothes for church and for when I start my internship!!! also fun jewelry to bling it up some:) I have accumulated too many workout clothes and haven’t shopped in so long for dressier outfits- i need help and this would be the perfect “fix”!
I’d love someone to style me some new business-casual tops for work!
Do they have shoes? I’ve been dying to get a pair of ankle booties! Also, I’m loving crewneck sweaters again after a long time of just being a cardigan girl, so a good, chunky sweater would do the trick!
I would love to have a new dress and a new crossbody bag!
I need some cute going out clothes for winter. I love stitchfix.
I would love some skinny jeans or a casual dress.
Infinity scarf and sweater!
I would use the Stitch Fix gift card for casual clothes. I feel like I have work clothes and workout clothes but just nothing casual! I tend to find myself either going fancy or too casual when I go out with friends! Happy Holidays to you!!
I’m still hunting for the perfect long gold necklace. I’d love for StitchFix to find it for me.
I recently had a baby and am in that awkward in between phase where my maternity pants are too big but my pre pregnancy ones are still too tight. I would love some new pants to help me feel fabulous until I can get the baby weight off!
I need serious fashion help so I would be happy to see anything really!
I need a blazer or light jacket. I moved from Colorado to San Diego recently and all my jackets are too heavy!

I would love a sweater or dress for work!!
I need more fancy dresses!
I would love someone to style some dressier work outfits for me!
I love accessories but don’t have enough! I would love a statement necklace or a new infinity scarf!
I’d love an embellished top or something with a little pizazz.
I need some trendy outerwear. Like a cropped motorcycle jacket or pretty cardigan. I’d also love to see some cute accessories, necklaces or bracelets.
Oh…my goodness! That’s AWESOME that you had the opportunity to visit the Stitch Fix warehouse in San Francisco! You truly have had so many neat traveling experiences for someone your age you’ve been all over the world (or at least the U.S.) and have been in so many races and met so many neat companies! It’s wonderful.
Anyways, I could REALLY use the $100 Stitch Fix Gift Card. I don’t think I’ll be getting any clothes from friends/family this year, just simply b/c I got some other items that were priorities (a guitar, a new vacuum, shoes) so this Gift Card would be wonderful!
To answer your Giveaway question, I would get the comfy “pajama-feeling” dress you are wearing , a new sweater b/c it’s getting cold here, a fun cross-body bag (I don’t own one, but could definitely see the benefit of one) and (depending if there’s any money left on the Gift Card) a chunky necklace or maybe a pair of skinny jeans (preferably grey).
~Amy 🙂

I would love to get more “grown up” clothes to add to my closet!
My friends do this and I have been hesitant to try it, but secretly would love to do it. My husband does something similar called The Trunk Club. He loves it!! If I won the giftcard, I would ask for warm weather clothes. I am ALWAYS cold and have a hard time finding sweaters, jackets, and warm clothes that are also stylish. Thanks for offering this Julie.
I miss summer, so I’m already ready for sun dresses! Oh, and jewelry…lots of jewelry!

I have been wearing scrubs for 4 plus years and I got a promotion and the attire is business casual. Whatever that means! I would love a gift card to Stitch Fix.
I would love a new sweater or bag!
I SO need this!!! because I’m a **STYLING CATASTROPHE**… One time, a few years ago when skinny jeans were getting popular, I had bought a pair, along with an mid calf boot for a first date. While I was getting ready at my more stylish adept friends house, I emerged from the bathroom with the skinny jeans *VERY* tightly covering my boot. My friend (and her cousin, from LA, even more stylish adept) bust out laughing!!
I’d love a patterned cardigan like the first picture in the post!
