Back in November I had the wonderful opportunity to travel to beautiful San Francisco and tour the Stitch Fix headquarters with a fabulous group of bloggers.
(Jenna, Kacia, me, Gina, Raechel)
From the moment we arrived and stepped foot in the beautiful townhouse we all shared for the time we spent in the city, I knew the trip was going to be special. Everyone we met at Stitch Fix was so kind and welcoming and they absolutely radiated enthusiasm for the company and fashion.
I detailed our time in San Francisco in my two recap posts, so you already know that we had the chance to help out at the warehouse, pack fixes to send out and chat with employees about day-to-day operations.
This is a seriously hard-working group of people. But they all know how to have fun and do things like build robots out of old boxes.
I had the best time joining my blogging friends as we were given a behind-the-scenes look at the beautiful clothes and accessories.
Ooooh the clothes!
If you missed my previous posts or are unfamiliar with the company, Stitch Fix (<—referral link) is a personalized styling service. You create a style profile by answering various questions about yourself and then schedule a “fix” to be sent to your home. A stylist then selects five items they think you will love to send your way based on your style profile.
The styling fee is $20 per fix but you can apply that toward the item(s) you want to buy, should you choose to keep anything from your fix. (If you keep all five items in your fix, you receive 25 percent off everything.) Return shipping is free, so you can easily send back whatever you don’t want by placing everything in the big return envelope that comes with every fix. It’s a really awesome concept and the company is growing like crazy!
I am still relatively new to Stitch Fix and have received four fixes to date.
This was my very first fix:
I honestly feel like my fixes are getting better and better! I try to provide detailed feedback on each fix when I send certain items back which I think allows my stylist to understand my preference and know what items I tend to gravitate toward in each fix. She has been nailing the jewelry and accessories I continue to find in my fixes lately!
This bracelet is a personal favorite:
And this dress is so crazy comfortable that I feel like I’m wearing pajamas every time I slip it on:
And these fun red skinny jeans brighten up any outfit:
If you haven’t tried Stitch Fix yet – or even if you have – I think you will enjoy the next part of this post!
How about a giveaway?
Stitch Fix is offering gift cards right now and I think they would make a fabulous gift for those in your life who love clothes and accessories or those who like cute clothes but never have time to shop for themselves. Stitch Fix gift cards are more than your basic gift card to a clothing store since a stylist will be picking out the pieces you will receive based on your style profile and items they think you will love!
And now I want to give FIVE of you a Stitch Fix gift card to enjoy!!!
Five PBF readers will receive a $100 gift card to Stitch Fix as a thank you from me. I’ve accumulated some credit to Stitch Fix thanks to you guys using my referral link which I really appreciate and I would love to share the love.
To enter this giveaway, simply comment below telling me what type of clothing or accessories you’d like to see in your fix should you win. Do you need a new sweater? A fun cross-body bag? A dress for New Year’s? A chunky bracelet? Let me know!
I will randomly select five winners on Thursday. Good luck and happy holidays!!!
Please note this giveaway is open to those in the U.S. only, as Stitch Fix is still only shipping to U.S. addresses at this time.
This is so generous of you Julie! I would love to get a wear anywhere dress in my StitchFix. I’m seriously lacking in the dress department!
I could definitely use some new sweaters and tops. I live in WI and the winters here are looooong. I would love some spicing up this year!
Definitely comfy dresses and fun leggings 🙂
I’m in desperate need of a new bag for everyday use!
I am in desperate need of everything. All I have to wear are gym clothes and they aren’t really appropriate for volunteering in the kid’s classroom or having a meeting.
I have been wanting to try stitch fix ever since you visited San Fran and blogged about the trip. I desperately need some new clothes, and a little spice to get me through the winter. I would defiantly have my stylist pick out some cute, comfy, warm outfits!
i could totally use a new purse!
I received my 11th fix this week. I only kept a top this time. I’ve had a couple where I kept everything. I always love getting my fixes and I rarely dislike anything I receive. Usually things go back bc I already have something similar.
I looove the accessories I keep seeing in bloggers’ fixes… I never buy them for myself but then I envy other people’s adorably accessorized outfits all the time!
I would love a new cross body bag and a bug chunky sweater!
I just got a new job that is a lot more dressy than the last one — I’d love some things I can dress up for work but also wear when I’m not at work. I’d love to win! (and I wrote ‘wine’ by mistake the first time, oops)
dresses definitely! I’ve become much more interested in wearing them lately, but I still don’t pick them out often when I’m shopping. I feel like I need some help.
I would LOVE a new statement necklace and oversized comfy sweater. Also I have been on the search for a new vest, but can’t seem to find the perfect one!
I would love some bracelets to wear with my watch and I am looking for some cute dresses to wear for my bachelorette party/bridal shower and rehersal dinner!
oooo I definitely want some funky pants!
I would love some cute new work clothes- blouses, pencil skirts, or any other cute clothes I can wear to the office!
You have such cute casual dresses. I would love to expand my wardrobe with a few.
This is extremely generous, Julie! I would love some new work pants for my new teaching job. And maybe some cute jewelry to go along with it!
Anything and everything! I need new clothes badly. I’d love to find a long sweater to wear over leggings without making me look frumpy. 🙂
I definitely could use some cute new dresses!
I just received my first fix this past week and it was so easy and convenient! I would love cozy sweaters and anything I can layer

Hard to pick but I would love a New Year’s Eve outfit!
I would love some new sweaters – it’s been a chilly winter so far in the Midwest – as well as some fun, colorful new accessories!
I am currently on the hunt for an over-sized sweater as I will be traveling to colder climates this winter and would like to be comfortable. Thanks for doing this awesome giveaway!
I feel in a fashion rut. I spent all of 2013 getting in shape and running my first races. But all I wear is workout clothes and my other clothes seem so Frumpy. I’d love something to wake up my style.
I would love a cute dress like the grey one you received! Gotta love adorable and comfy! 🙂
SO excited for this giveaway!!! 🙂 I’ve been wanting to get a stitchfix for the longest time!!! I would love a fun new dress to wear for the holidays, or a comfy new sweater to wear with leggings!

I need some new winter clothes! I have only 2 sweaters and that is not going to cut it with the cold this year!
I’d like to get some nice sweaters and pants for work.
I could definitely use some fun, new jewelry pieces! I feel like I always gravitate towards the same style of pieces, so it would be awesome to see what Stitchfix would send me!!
A new go-to necklace would be great. I have such a hard time picking them out.
This would be great—Thanks!
Wow Julie, what a generous giveaway! Thank you! I would like some new accessories; I’ve seen some really fun ones in bloggers’ Stitch Fix recaps and would love to see what I’d receive. Plus, I have been DYING to try Stitch Fix; this would be a great introduction!!
LOVE Stitch Fix! It’s been awhile since my last fix though 🙁 I would most like a new sweater, cardigan, or blazer since it’s freeeeeezing up here in South Dakota.
I need some new pants, dresses, tops, accessories. Basically I need a make over so this would be perfect:) Thanks for doing this!!!
I could go for some new dresses!
I would love to gift this to my mom. I just told her about sitch fix and she is all over it! I think she would love to have some things suggested to her by a stylist that she wouldn’t otherwise pick up.
I would love a dress for the holidays or NYE and a fun necklace, scarf or bracelet! I love stitchfix and hoped you got the referral.
I am terrible at picking out jeans, I would love the help of a stitch fix stylist!
I’m SO hesitant to try Stitch Fix because I’m worried about not loving anything or it not fitting right and ending up with nothing new! As a new mom, I definitely need more easy breezy tops and a good sturdy pair of jeans (skinny for boots of course!). Shopping without shopping sounds like the greatest thing ever 😀 Also ,I LOVE those red jeans you’ve got on!!
Leggings and a scarf!
I would love some jewelry and skinny jeans to go with my new riding boots.
I would looooove some fun jewelry! This site is so fun!
