Description
I tossed the almonds in melted coconut oil and a splash of maple syrup seasoned with cinnamon, cayenne pepper and curry powder. The end result was a sweet and slightly spicy batch of roasted almonds that we could not stop eating. Be warned: These little babies are quite addicting!

- 2 cups raw almonds
- 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon tablespoon coconut oil, melted
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
- Combine melted coconut oil and maple syrup. Add spices and stir.
- Add almonds to spiced coconut oil mixture and toss to coat.
- Spread out almonds on a cookie sheet sprayed with cooking spray and roast in the oven for 20 minutes, flipping the nuts halfway through.
- Allow to cool and enjoy!
