Elliptical Workout

February 17, 2011 by Julie 62 Comments

I have a confession to make. I tend to use the elliptical as a “cop out” form of working out. It definitely makes me sweat but doesn’t totally kick my butt like interval workouts or spinning classes. Well, this morning I realized that a kick-butt workout can be achieved on the ellitpical! After seeing Gabriela…

Deconstructed Dinner

October 13, 2010 by Julie 21 Comments

buffalo chicken 016

Hooray for easy dinners thanks to the crock pot! Ryan and I received a brand new crock pot from my friend Kaitlyn at my bridal shower and I couldn’t wait to put it to the test! I made tonight’s dinner by placing a pound of ground chicken in the slow cooker with one can of…

March 29, 2010 by Julie 18 Comments

Good news! The rain has finally decided to let up and the lovely spring sun is shining in Orlando again. Good weather = Grilling! For the first time in 2010, we fired up the grill to make tonight’s dinner… and by “we” I mean Ryan. The grill intimidates me. 😉 Do you grill or leave…

Play Time at the Park

March 14, 2010 by Julie 18 Comments

Even after two walks totaling at least 4.5 miles (2 with Ryan and 2.5 with me), Sadie was as energetic and chipper as ever. Clearly a trip to the dog park was in order.  Puppy Play Time  I’ve never seen so many cars at the dog park!  People came out of the woodworks to take…
