After a super-quick trip to Raleigh, I’m back in Charlotte, ready to teach a PiYo class this morning! Seeing my aunt, uncle, grandma, mom and cousins was such a treat and even though my visit was a short one, I’m so glad I made the trip and hope to see everyone again soon!
Tomorrow I am off to Chicago for a weekend with some of my very best girlfriends! We go way back to elementary school and I cannot wait to see them and meet my friend Leah’s baby boy for the first time!

Things I’m Loving Friday
This cloth is amazing!!! My sister and my mom swear by it and earlier this month, I started using the cloth and walked away so incredibly impressed with its makeup removing abilities. I used to wash my face with face wash or an exfoliator and always felt like I got my face pretty darn clean until I used this cloth that always picks up makeup I would’ve left behind. Bonus? It’s less than $10 and when you wash it, the fluffy white cloth comes out looking brand new every single time. (Note: The box says the cloth takes off your makeup with just water, but I still like to use my usual face wash it and simply use the cloth to dry my face/remove any remaining makeup.)
- KIND Bars
During our trip to Sanibel two weeks ago, I snacked on my fair share of KIND bars since we had a bunch on hand at the condo for an easy grab-and-go beach snack. Well, I ended up falling in love with a new-to-me flavor: Dark Chocolate Nuts & Seat Salt. (Notice this flavor is not featured in the above pic because they don’t last long in our house.) My previous favorite, the Almond & Coconut bar, has now been relegated to second place, but it’s still very tasty!
I prepped this recipe last night when I arrived home from Raleigh and was so happy to wake up to a breakfast that was ready to eat when I woke up this morning. It’s so easy to throw together and a great dairy free overnight oats option for those who cannot/do not want to eat dairy.
- Fabletics Weston Pullover
This cute and trendy pullover came in my February Fabletics delivery and I’ve been wearing it non-stop ever since. It’s lightweight but still cozy and the mesh top + cut outs on the back make it so unique. (FYI – It’s also available in gray and is quite affordable!) And while we’re on the topic of comfy clothes, Janae has me convinced I need these real-pants-that-are-actually-sweatpants in my life. I’m just not sure I can pull them off like she can, but it’s worth a try since my all leggings all the time look is getting a little old. Looks like a trip to GAP is in my near future…
- Sour Patch Kids Redberry Gum
I used to chew a ton of gum. I still absolutely love gum, but when I realized I was chewing an excessive number of pieces of gum a day, I stopped buying gum for a while to break the habit. Now I’ll still pick up a pack of gum somewhat regularly but a pack will now last me longer than a day or two, which I consider a small victory. I still get awfully excited when I see new fun gum flavors pop up on the market and when I saw Sour Patch Kids redberry gum for sale at the grocery store check out aisle, I had to buy a pack. Though it obviously doesn’t replace real Sour Patch Kids, I do love the sweet punch of flavor I get from each piece. It’s pretty darn good!

Yes!!! I bought that flavor last week! It’s so good! I’ve heard mixed things about the red flavor though — have you tried it?
No. I was never a favorite of the red starburst. I don’t want to set myself up for failure. haha!
I’ve had the orange and lime sour patch kid gum, but starbursts have always been my favorite. I didn’t know starburst gum existed! I need to find it! 🙂
I was just going to ask if anyone had tried the pink starburst gum. It’s my faaaavorite! I loved the lemon dessert gum too, but it is gone for good now. 🙁
I’m loving that it’s SUNNY here in Pittsburgh, which doesn’t happen much in the wintertime!
It’s also supposed to be warm (25 degrees, HA) & sunny for my 15 mile race tomorrow!

I need to keep my eye out for that cloth, so cool! Have you ever heard of joga jeans? They are made by silver and they feel like yoga pants but look like jeans!
I’m loving this great restaurant I tried with a friend last night that is a blend of Greek, Turkish, and Lebanese small plates. We ordered way too many dishes that were all spectacularly delicious! I’m always loving the dining options D.C. has to offer.
I love Kind bars! I used to grab them at the dining halls at school all the time 🙂 I’m currently loving fitnessblender workouts, good books, and the fact that March is almost here!

I live in Chicago as well and have to say Doughnut Vault is one of my absolute favorites. I love their triple chocolate donut. Sooo good! If you’re looking for a dinner place and like BBQ, Smoke is a restaurant that I’ve heard is amazing. I’ve been dying to try it myself. Have fun in Chicago!

-Running outside again! It’s been a snowy, icy winter, and I recently bought Yak Trax. Now I can run outdoors with no fear and I love it!

-I like 5gum a lot! I like most of the flavors, and the taste lingers for a while. Plus, I really like the pack design and how it looks in my purse 🙂

We have a huge gum jar at work with every different flavor in it. It has definitely fueled my gum addiction. haha That Sour Patch Kids flavor is in there and I really like it! I just wish it would keep its flavor longer!

I really like the Extra Mint Chocolate Chip Dessert gum. My husband can’t stand it , so more for me! I’m not a big fruity gum person, but I also don’t really like fruity candy. Chocolate for lyfe.
I’m going to Chicago this weekend to visit my best friends from college, too! I only live about 2 hours away, though, so it’s not a huge trip, but I’m excited nonetheless!

I also love the dark chocolate sea salt KIND flavor! The sugar is low and it’s a great snack to bring to work.
I also used to chew a pack of gum a day. I was addicted and had to give it up for about a year. I was having stomach issues from the artificial sweetners, jaw pain, and I wasn’t eating proper meals because it curbed my hunger. I now get a pack every once in a while as a treat! I can make it last a week now (or at least 3-4 days…)
I am loving that it is Friday and I survived the week of grad school (two tests and one transfer practical)!
I am loving that I get to have a relaxing weekend with my husband. We have been GoGoGo every weekend for what feels like years! lol So we have a no plan weekend and that is just what we need! I wish it was warmer in Missouri so we could spend some time outside but we are expected to get 4-7″ of snow this weekend so we will be inside most of the time. Honestly I would be happy if we didnt leave the house at all. Does that make me a loser?? 🙂
I’m really interested in the Wonder Cloth. Even with my cleanser, I can’t seem to get all of my makeup off. What type of cleanser do you use and does it work on waterproof mascara?

I love gum too! I found the orange sourpatch kids gum at sale on target and even though I don’t really like orange flavored things it’s yummy! I’m loving the cake ball flavor from Extra right now too!

I LOVE the Sour Patch Kids gum! I’m actually chewing a piece right now 😉 The lime is probably my favorite flavor, but the red berry and watermelon are good choices too. Orange is (surprisingly) my least favorite 🙁

I must admit I’m quite the chain chewer and I frequently buy new flavors of gum when I see them. I recently bought EXTRA confetti cake pop and OMG. It’s incredible. It’s the first flavor I have ever had that actually tastes delicious and reminds me of the real thing. A must try indeed:)

I kind of loved and hated the Christina Aguilera impression of Britney. On the one hand, it was completely spot on and I was kind of amazed that Christina could sound so much like Britney. On the other hand, comparing the two, I’ve always liked Britney better. Christina always seems like a diva and Britney comes across as a good ole’ southern girl (who kind of lost her way a little bit, lol)

I’m loving The Best Bar Ever (yup, that’s what it’s called–and it is!) it’s delish! All natural ingredients, very similar to a Larabar where it has ground nuts and fruit but what makes it so good are the giant chunks of whole dried tart cherries and the addition of vanilla protein which makes it taste EXACTLY like cake batter….I swear! They’re my daily healthy indulgence!

Have fun in Chicago! It’s my favorite city. I am LOVING the new Starburst Juicy Fruit gum. On a normal day I just love my Trident original. I too have a gum problem that comes and goes depending on if I let myself buy it. For some reason when I travel I MUST have gum so I just bought a big multi pack for my trip to NYC. oops! I hate that gum has aspartame in it, and I have tried to find healthier options that taste and chew as good.
I really want to try the wonder cloth now! I can’t believe it doesn’t stain the cloth! I ruin so many wash cloths because of my makeup! Have a great weekend in Chicago!
That sour patch kid gum is awesome, except I find that the flavour doesnt last nearly long enough :(. And KIND bars are delicious! Lately I’ve been into Pure bars (no, not Pure Barre haha)- they’re so good you need to check them out!
