Good morning! I am just arriving home after a teaching a barbell strength class and feelin’ great! The weekend is here and I am really looking forward to a dinner date night out with Ryan tonight!
As far as the rest of the weekend is concerned, I hope the 70-degree weather that’s on the forecast decides to come out to play on Saturday. It’s chilly and dreary in Charlotte today, but hopefully that will change soon!

Things I’m Loving Friday
- Dave Matthews Band Pandora Station
I’ve been listening to tons of upbeat Pandora stations for months and earlier this week, I decided to change things up and listen to an old favorite. The Dave Matthews Band Pandora station is perfect for days when I am in the mood for chill music that calms me down and makes me smile. It takes me back to high school when I first fell in love with DMB. Bonus points go to the station when they play “Say Goodbye,” my all-time favorite Dave song. Big thumbs up!
When I mentioned that I was craving ALL THE FRUIT in a previous pregnancy update, one of you guys left a comment saying how you couldn’t get enough watermelon during your pregnancy. Well, that was all I needed to read to spark a craving and I made sure to add watermelon to my grocery list this week. I ended up making this refreshing smoothie three times! It tasted especially amazing after the hot spin class I taught yesterday. LOVE it.
These cleansing towelettes are getting a lot of use these days! Since I teach group fitness classes, sometimes I don’t have time to grab a quick shower between teaching and working at the gym, so I keep a small pack of the towelettes in my bag just in case I need a quick refresher to hold me over. They’ve saved me numerous times! I also keep a small travel-size packet in the center console of my car – my own little emergency stash!
- My First Stitch Fix Maternity Box
Last week I mentioned that Stitch Fix began offering maternity clothes, but I thought I updated my style profile on the site too late to allow my next fix to actually have any of the new clothing in it. I was very pleasantly surprised when my first maternity fix arrived in the mail this week! At first glance, I love the looks they sent my way but I still have to try everything on. I’ll be sure to share a glimpse into the fix in my 19-week pregnancy update next week!
- Baby On Board Pure Barre Socks
My studio gave me these Baby On Board socks after they found out I was pregnant! I was very touched by their kindness and they’re now, without a doubt, my favorite grippy socks to wear to class!
- This Picture of Kona
My sister texted me this picture of her adorable chocolate lab, Kona, this morning and said, “Happy Friday!!” It made me laugh out loud. It almost looks she’s smiling or something. I miss that sweet pup… and Leslie and Ross, too, of course!!
- TCBY White Chocolate Mousse Frozen Yogurt
I had a dentist appointment yesterday afternoon and left without enough time to head home between my appointment and our Girls On The Run practice, so I decided to spend the extra 10 minutes I had on hand at TCBY! I filled my cup with a base of white chocolate mousse frozen yogurt – my favorite TCBY flavor since I was a little girl! I added a bit of chocolate froyo to the cup before topping it off with various toppings that reminded me of Valentine’s Day. Reds + Pinks of all candy forever!

This is strange — but I don’t “get” the socks picture! Are your toes curled under, or are your pants down over half of your socks, or do you just have incredibly short feet?!
haha! my pants are pulled down over half my socks!
I have been loving vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup in the evenings. I am also loving how many people are getting amped up about baseball! It makes my job so much more fun 🙂 Go Cardinals!

The thing I’m loving this week is relaxing nights on the couch with my hubby <3 there haven't been many this week, but tonight we're stayin' in and relaxing!
That frozen yogurt looks delicious! I’m loving spending time with my puppy and enjoying some good meals out during my law school spring break. If only it would stop snowing so the sun could come out!

Congrats on your pregnancy. I’m a new reader but I am really enjoying your blog. Having two little boys I always find that it always puts a smile on my face when I hear that someone else is expecting! So best wishes to you. I have a question about one of the things listed here, what is “Stitch Fix”. I went on the website but I wasn’t sure exactly what they do. Do they actually select clothing for you based on your style preferences and then send the clothes to you?
I can’t wait to hear about your first maternity Stich Fix. Mine is arriving during the first week of April and I’m really curious what will be included.
Today I am just loving life! My husband and I just bought a new home (we move in 30 days) and couldn’t be more thrilled. Let the furniture shopping, nursery planning, and moving chaos begin! 🙂 I’m in nesting mode, so this is perfect for me.
