I was absolutely thrilled when the company reached out to me about partnering together for a giveaway on the blog because it is truly one of my favorite websites out there for incredibly affordable clothing.
thredUP is my go-to resource for high quality secondhand clothes, shoes, accessories and handbags and while I’ve been using the site for more than two years for myself, after Chase was born I fell in love with it all over again thanks to its incredible selection of like-new (and often brand new!) children’s clothing and accessories.
I love ordering from thredUP because I know that I will receive a beautifully packaged box of clothes (they wrap everything up in tissue paper and attach their own tags so it really does feel special!) and their return policy is wonderful! I search for my favorite brands (Free People, lululemon, Kate Spade, Zara, ASOS, etc.) and am always so impressed with the selection. The items are up to 90% off the original retail price and always feel like a steal!
I personally prefer to search thredUP when I am looking for something specific because they have SO much stuff. I was on a big-time romper kick this summer and regularly perused the rompers and jumpsuits section of thredUP in my size and was able to nab a handful of great finds for way less than I’d pay if I bought them brand new.
Here’s a look at one of my random summertime thredUP hauls:
(An assortment of Ralph Lauren/Baby Gap clothes for Chase and a Dolce Vita romper, comfy Free People pants and Gap sandals for me!)
DV Dolce Vita Romper (thredUP price: $26.99 / Retail value: $95) Victoria’s Secret Bikini Top: (thredUP price: $5.99 / Retail value: $18)
And here’s a quick rundown of a small handful of the items I’ve purchased from thredUP over the years:
Old Navy Puffer Vest: (thredUP price: $10.99 / Retail value: $40) Lululemon Crossbody Bag: (thredUP price: $48 / Retail value: $119)
Forever 21 Chambray Tie Crop Top (thredUP price: $7.99 / Retail value: $27) / Neon Marc Jacobs Crossbody Purse (thredUP price: $80.99 / Retail value: $258)
On me: Yumi Kim Dress (thredUP price: $30 / Retail value: $143) / On Chase: Carters Polo + Carters Pants (thredUP price: $5 + $7)
Lululemon 1/4 zip (thredUP price: $61.99 / Retail value: $118)
Lululemon Tank (thredUP price: $28 / Retail value: $58)

I’ve done two Clean Out bags but haven’t purchased anything for myself yet. I am pregnant and would use this to purchase some much-needed maternity clothes just in time for winter. There is a cute glittery sweater on there right now that I love! 🙂
I want ALL the lululemon clothes!!
I am obsessed with tunics (sweaters, shirts, etc). I would pick up a few more of them 🙂
I am currently VEST OBSESSED. I feel like they change up even a casual outfit into something cute. And I love pairing them with jeans, a flannel and converse for a weekend look. But I only have one since they’re usually so expensive! I would snag a few extra colors! Especially because my fiance and I are going to do an engagement shoot soon & I feel like a vest would be the perfect look!
Also, can I just say it’s refreshing to see bloggers talking about // doing sponsored posts for brands they obviously love & use daily. Nothing worse than hearing about a brand once and never again. It seems so disingenuous.
I would love to buy that sweet denim Baby Gap skirt for our sweet Goddaughter 🙂
I would live to get a new sequined top for holiday parties. Dressed up or down, great winter party staple.
I can’t decide on just one item! But I would get some stuff for my two little boys! 🙂
This gorgeous strapless black cocktail dress by Shoshanna for New Years!
I just added a couple things to my cart last night! A J. Jill knit poncho and a Staring At Stars infiniti scarf in teal. Love Thred Up thanks to you!
I saw a cute leopard print Coach clutch that would be fun!
I’ve been trying to figure out the best place to send/take my clothes into for consignment and this looks like a winner! I love picking up gently warn items for my nephew- knowing he’ll only wear them a handful of times before outgrows them. I love all of the athletic options and the unique dresses!
Ah, I’ve never shopped on Thred UP before, but I know how much you love it! I just checked out the website and it’s hard to decide. I love the cardigans and cocktail dresses- would be perfect for Christmas parties!
I love the We the Free grey sheath dress and so many of the cute kids clothes for my niece and nephew!
Just found out I’m expecting! I would love to be able to use that credit for a maternity clothes wardrobe BUT since I’m not showing yet… first buy would be an Adrianna Papell cocktail dress I saw for the holiday season 🙂
Would be so excited for this! I searched for lululemon and was blown away but how much they had! I would love a new pair of workout crops! Thanks Julie!
I would love to get some new tops to wear under a black vest I got recently. And a new purse, maybe!
I would buy some lululemon workout clothes.
I’ve sent a bunch of stuff in . . . but with a new baby, definitely looking for great deals on new baby clothing 🙂
I love being able to spot some Lululemon on there! I love their stuff, but not at full price.
I love the coach black leather belt!
There is a black Theory wool dress on there that is ADORABLE…Then I would just need to find somewhere to wear it 😉
J Brand jeggings!!
A BCBG cocktail dress for NYE!
Love, love, love the Banana Republic work appropriate dresses they have! Such a fun hunt for things on ThredUp!
Hi Julie! You always have the cutest style 🙂 Since holiday party season is officially upon us, I would want a fun sparkly dress like this one:

Usually party dresses only get worn once or twice, so it seems perfect to use a company like Thred Up and keep it under budget! Thanks for sharing! 🙂
I would love to get my hands on some new workout gear!
There’s a cute baby Gap dress for my daughter that still has the tags on it.
Yay, i love thredup!
I would buy some new light-weight sweaters for winter. I just moved from Ohio to Texas so the winter will be very different here 🙂
a new winter color cross body bag, maybe a festive red 🙂
LOVE ThredUp and could buy a zillion things from there – love the dress section the most, the handbag section second!
Some new lulu leggings for sure!
I’m definitely in the market for some cute sweaters.!
I would love to get some winter dresses!
I’m keeping my eyes open for a new cross body bag on ThredUp and some new jeans :). I’ve already ordered from them twice and sent in a bag of clothes a few weeks ago. Love it!
It took a little digging, but I found so much good stuff! The tip to search for your favorite designers is a good one.
The number one item I have my eye on is a gorgeous printed silk Tibi shift–it’s fun, feminine, figure-flattering, and looks as if it could be vintage, all par for the course for me, but it’s also a bit more elegant and sophisticated than what normally finds its way into my closet. In other words, I think my mom would approve. I absolutely love it and think I could wear it year-round for any special event!
One piece of advice to fellow shoppers: there are EXCELLENT deals on jeans (even before the extra 40% off), but be sure to check the inseam length as many have been hemmed. I think there’s a woman out there with my exact taste in J. Brand jeans who’s my same size but tragically much shorter than me, which I didn’t notice until I was about to check out.
Any Zella items that I can find I would love to buy!!
I would snag a pair of lululemon crops! They are the best!
Kate Spade bag 🙂
I would buy Lululemon workout clothes! I have recently lost some weight and could use some new workout things to keep me motivated!
We recently just moved and I sent a ton of clothes to thred up! Love the site. I was browsing their dresses as I’m looking for some casual sun dresses for my honeymoon next year, of course I want a whole new wardrobe for just the honeymoon haha but with thred up could do it at a reasonable price! There’s a cute theory dress on there right now i have my eye on 🙂
I would LOVE to buy the Lululemon Halfvip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
