thredUP Giveaway! (My Fav Site for Quality Secondhand Clothes)

November 30, 2016 by Julie 1,024 Comments

You guys I have one heck of an awesome giveaway for you today from one of my most-visited sites on the Internet that you’ll surely recognize if you’ve been a PBF reader for more than a hot second. Truth be told, I had to sift through numerous pages on my blog to find out when I first mentioned thredUP because I’ve been using it for so long. (Turns out I first became a fan back in the summer of 2014 and thredUP made its blog debut in my 44th Things I’m Loving Friday feature.)

I was absolutely thrilled when the company reached out to me about partnering together for a giveaway on the blog because it is truly one of my favorite websites out there for incredibly affordable clothing.

thredUP coupon code and giveaway

thredUP is my go-to resource for high quality secondhand clothes, shoes, accessories and handbags and while I’ve been using the site for more than two years for myself, after Chase was born I fell in love with it all over again thanks to its incredible selection of like-new (and often brand new!) children’s clothing and accessories.

thredup toddler clothes

I love ordering from thredUP because I know that I will receive a beautifully packaged box of clothes (they wrap everything up in tissue paper and attach their own tags so it really does feel special!) and their return policy is wonderful! I search for my favorite brands (Free People, lululemon, Kate Spade, Zara, ASOS, etc.) and am always so impressed with the selection. The items are up to 90% off the original retail price and always feel like a steal!

I personally prefer to search thredUP when I am looking for something specific because they have SO much stuff. I was on a big-time romper kick this summer and regularly perused the rompers and jumpsuits section of thredUP in my size and was able to nab a handful of great finds for way less than I’d pay if I bought them brand new.

Here’s a look at one of my random summertime thredUP hauls:

thredup summer

(An assortment of Ralph Lauren/Baby Gap clothes for Chase and a Dolce Vita romper, comfy Free People pants and Gap sandals for me!)

thredup romper

DV Dolce Vita Romper (thredUP price: $26.99 / Retail value: $95) Victoria’s Secret Bikini Top: (thredUP price: $5.99 / Retail value: $18)

And here’s a quick rundown of a small handful of the items I’ve purchased from thredUP over the years:

Julie thredup

Old Navy Puffer Vest: (thredUP price: $10.99 / Retail value: $40) Lululemon Crossbody Bag: (thredUP price: $48 / Retail value: $119)

Loving so many of the maternity clothes!!! I’ve been trying to hold out on not buying too many maternity clothes because of the cost compared to how long I’ll wear them, but it’s getting difficult when all of my regular clothes are becoming too snug and uncomfortable!

I registered on ThredUp a while back because of one of your posts but hadn’t really checked it out or bought anything from there because I just never “had time”. After your examples in this post, what was I thinking?!! This is completely worth the time! Cute AND way affordable! I have a 15 month old little girl, Layla, that needs some cute, warm boots (we live in snowy Iowa) and the Bearpaw Ankle Boots for $18 is a steal! What girl doesn’t need boots with the fur? I am so excited to shop ThredUp. Thanks for the post & giveaway!

As a former stay-at-home mom who only recently returned to work, I’ve been faced with the harsh reality of the fact that my entire professional wardrobe was built circa 2006. While I’m glad everything still fits, my fashion game needs a serious refresh! Thredup has sooo many great options for business casual wear I could totally knock out an entire wardrobe overhaul on their site alone.

    Help a sister out 🙂
