I especially love lunch dates when the weather is gorgeous and you can enjoy your meal al fresco.
I met up with two of my former coworkers, Ryan and Ashley, at Caffé Ritazza in downtown Orlando. I enjoyed a yummy salad while we chatted away outside.
My salad included:
- Romaine
- Beets
- Carrots
- Celery
- Cucumber
- Mushrooms
- Broccoli
- Onion
- Salsa
Using salsa as a salad dressing is one of my favorite ways to kick a salad up a notch. Salsa brings a lot of moisture, flavor and yummy nutrients to the table.
When I got back to my desk at work, I snacked on a small baggie of pistachios I packed this morning.
Wedding Hair Piece
Okay you fashion-forward ladies! I need your help.
As you may remember from my post on my wedding day hair and makeup trial, I am planning on wearing a pink flower in my hair on my wedding day.
(The pink flower will replace the yellow one in the above picture.)
My veil will peek out underneath my up-do, just in case you were curious about how that will work. I am wearing this veil I had made by an Etsy designer and am anxiously awaiting its arrival. (It is due on my doorstep on October 22.)
Anyway, I am having some reservations about the pink flower I currently have to wear in my hair.
This is the pink flower I currently have:
I love it, but it’s a little big.
I am considering buying another option…
I think this one is gorgeous:
And this one appeals to me too:
Now I ask you…
Which pink flower hair piece do you like best? The first, second or third flower?
Nina says
Option Two!!
Brittany (a healthy slice of life) says
All beautiful, but I think #2 looks most bridal! How fun! I can’t wait to see pictures of what you choose 🙂
Teri [a foodie stays fit] says
I LOVE option two!
peanutbutterfingers says
you guys have expensive taste! #2 is the most expensive! 🙂
Anne says
Dang, that was the one I would say as well!!
Amber K says
I think it’s funny that we all have expensive taste! I love Option 2.
Shanna, like Banana says
Number 2 is great! Demure and classic. The pearls are a nice touch!
Exercise and Eat says
Option Two!!!!! So gorgeous, so classic – I can see you pulling it off well!
abbey says
Option 2! x
Allison says
I love the first one, but option 2 might match your shoes really well too.
Jess says
I loooove #2 with the pearls in the middle…very classy and elegant 🙂
Lauren S. says
Definitely the second one! i love how subtle, but elegant the two flowers are-plus the pearls in the middle are beautiful and give it that little something extra. 🙂
Samantha says
OPTION TWO hands down! Beautiful and classy, love the pearls!
Mary Beth says
You said it yourself–you think #2 is gorgeous–go with it!! Although, they are all really pretty 🙂
Your salad had all my favorite veggies in it! Another great “dressing” is to take dijon mustard and thin it with water and a bit of Stevia. Shake it up and pile it on 🙂
Daria says
I have to say, I love the first flower, but if that is too large, Option Three looks to be HUGE! =)
Personally, I’m a fan of #1 and I would rank them
1
3
2
But that’s just me. =) It’s exciting no matter what!
Ashley says
Option TWO!! It’s the softest looking one 🙂 love it!
Gavi @ GaviGetsGoing! says
Salsa is my favorite salad dressing, too!
And now on to more important things…#2 is absolutely beautiful. It’s a little hard to imagine the size and bulk of #3, so at the moment #2 looks to be the best. You’re going to be such a beautiful bride!
Marie-JourneyToBodyZen says
I like option 3! I think it looks modern and chic and love the subtle ruffles.
Erin says
Option Two for sure!
Mayura says
I love option 1 because it looks the most like a real flower (at least in the picture). But they’re all pretty!
Mama Pea says
I like #2 as well. I think it is almost symbolic with the two flowers coming together 🙂
peanutbutterfingers says
OOOOOOOOOOH i LOVE that thought. i never even thought of it like that.
erica says
OPTION 2!!!!!!!!! it’s beautiful!!!!!!
Nic says
I’m going to have to go with the majority here and say number 2 🙂
Jordan P says
Option 2 is perfect and lovely and I think will go best with the veil as well!
Adra says

Katie says
Option 1!
Hayley says
I LOVE option 2! It’s very delicate and I think the paleness of it would look great with your skin tone.
Kaycee says
Personally, I think that the first option is gorgeous- it’s natural and fresh looking, and I love the color! Next I would have to say option 3, mainly because of the color and naturalness. I like option 2 too though, it’s just more formal looking than the other ones =]
Whitney says
Option 2! The two flowers just look better than one big one! So excited for you 🙂
Katherine says
I also vote for option 2. It seems to be the most formal, which is perfect for your wedding!
Kara says
Option 2 … SO classy …. and the pearls add a romantic flair …. my wedding in February is all pearls and glamour…love the touch of ladylike sophistication …. you should do pearls for SURE …. 😉
peanutbutterfingers says
i like the pearls, too! especially since i’m wearing my sister’s pearl bracelet as my “something borrowed” on my wedding day!
Kara says
Perfect girl …. well I think you have your answer! Congrats again …. 🙂
beth says
Have you considered a real flower? I think that would be the most elegant and formal!
Primrose says
Option 2!
Diana says
I say 3! 🙂 goes with your shoes. 🙂
Britt says
Honestly, I like options 1 & 2…I’m not really a fan of #3
jacquelyn says
2. deffinately 2. It’s simple, sophisticated, pretty and still whimsical.
Jess says
I like the second one!
Ashley says
#2 is really pretty and looks very bridal and elegant.
Jenna says
I like the one you currently have — option 1! But option 3 seems like it would watch the shoes you got really well!
Paige says
I think I like your original choice the best!
Clare @ Fitting It All In says
#2 looks the most formal – I don’t know what you would want for your wedding. I like them all though – can’t go wrong!
kp says
They are all gorgeous! Is there a possibility to try using a real flower? I was a bridesmaid last year and the bride had us wear real white orchids with a hint of pink. They tucked beautifully into our up-do’s and side-do’s. Just a thought… and they smell nice too!
Jaime says
Sorry, Im with the expensive one too! Although, number 1 is nice too. I will leave now…I just made you even more confused…
Dani says
Option two all the way! It’s so beautiful and delicate!!
Charlie says
My favorite is #3!! (3-1-2)
And that up-do is gorgeous!
Brooke says
None of those… I would pin one of the flowers that is used in either your bouquet or other arrangements at the ceremony/reception. That is what I did and it lasted all day/night. Just a thought =)
Kara says
#1 is my fav but if you are worried about size, then I love #2.
Emily says
I like your original choice!!!!
