This week my workouts were a little all over the place thanks to sick kids, Thanksgiving and an unusual schedule. I still managed to get in three strength workouts (one was cut short) and a three-mile walk on Thanksgiving morning. See below for a more detailed recap!
Week of Workouts: November 2022

Monday: Garage Push/Pull Workout
On Monday morning I joined Ryan in the garage for his and hers workouts. We almost always do our own thing when we work out in the garage at the same time but it is still nice to have a little company before dawn! I completed a push/pull workout I actually screenshotted from my blog of a past Burn Boot Camp workout I shared. This one primarily targeted my shoulders, chest and back and was a great way to kick off the week!

Tuesday: Burn Boot Camp Leg Day Workout (Streaming in the Garage)
I’m glad I woke up at 5:15 a.m. to work out on Tuesday because Rhett woke up sick not long after I was done. I had a lot I needed to accomplish on my to-do list (both related to work and hosting Thanksgiving — my in-laws arrived that evening) and I swear getting in a workout before the day spiraled out of control truly helped me feel a little better about everything… almost like I at least accomplished one positive thing, ya know? My workout was a good one thanks to Burn Boot Camp! I streamed a throwback leg workout from their YouTube channel and majorly felt this one in my quads, glutes and hamstrings.

Wednesday: Rest
I was up early with Rhett on Wednesday since he wasn’t feeling well and used his naptime to prep for Thanksgiving so no workout happened for me.
-
Thursday: Turkey Trot 5K Walk
On Thanksgiving morning, we completed a 5K walk as part of our neighborhood’s turkey trot! It felt wonderful to get outside and walk with the boys. The fresh air did wonders for all of us.
Friday: Rapid Fire Biceps + Triceps Workout
My workout on Friday morning was cut short again because Rhett was up struggling with some lingering congestion and I ended up rocking him in his room and helping him ease into the day rather than finish my workout. I followed an old workout I previously shared (pictured above again) but only made it through about 1.5-2(ish) rounds before throwing in the towel. Mom duty calls!

Saturday: Rest
No workout for me on Saturday.

Sunday: Rest
No workout for me on Sunday.
Question of the Day
Did your usual workout routine change at all last week?
Anyone else complete a Turkey Trot?

You are a great mom, and your blog is a joy to read.

Always like the workout blog posts! Gives me ideas to mix up my usual workouts! Our house hold is also sick so didn’t get to workout much last week.
