Let’s have some fun this morning!
Look at the picture below. What are the first four words that jump out at you?
They’re supposed to describe YOU.
Fun, huh?
I shared this picture on the PBF Facebook page yesterday after I saw it St. Petersburg Jazzercise page and got a kick out of reading all of the words you guys saw when you glanced at the image. Feel free to play along in the comments section today! (I saw elegant, naïve, outgoing and sweet.)
I also posted the picture on my personal Facebook page and had to laugh when my sister’s boyfriend responded that the first word he saw was “BOGO.” It was very fitting since he is definitely a guy who loves a good deal! (BOGO = Buy one, get one, just in case you’re not familiar with discount shopping vernacular.)
When I saw Ross’ reply, I brought up the picture at home last night and asked Ryan to name the first four words he saw. His reply:
- Time
- Cot
- Pass
- Passionate
Cot? Really?
Apparently this little game isn’t foolproof. Either that or my husband really misses kindergarten naptime on a cot.
Workout
Today’s workout began with a quick 20 minutes on the elliptical which I spent reading Ocala Magazine. I then completed a chest and tricep workout before calling it a day.
Breakfast
More foamy coffee!
Along with my lovely cup of coffee, I had another egg, cheese and jelly bagelwich.
We’re all out of oats in our house at the moment and that must change. I wanted vanilla banana protein oatmeal this morning!
Question of the Morning
- What four words did you see when you first looked at the picture at the beginning of this post?
Faith @ For the Health of It says
Passionate, insecure, dramatic and naive. Not sure I find those all accurate…but a funny little game to play in the morning!
Jessica says
My brain is not yet operating on all cylinders so I can’t even remember all four…
dependant (so not the case!!)
restless (not so much)
Can’t remember the other two…
Lindsay @ In Sweetness and In Health says
LOVE this! I got passionate, elegant, thoughtful and happy. I’m really not too sure about the elegant one though haha. And I used to love my nap time on the cots. Maybe it’s just saying that Ryan needs some rest!
Lindsey says
Passion, Sweet, Outgoing and Peaceful. But I had to look for those! I was never good at word finds 😉
Krista @ Blonde Aesthetic says
happy, genuine, elegant and impatient.
I laughed a little at the impatient one, because it’s true.
Emily says
Talented, Naive, Passionate, Outgoing
I don’t know about talented but the other three describe me pretty perfectly!
Cel says
Dramatic
Passionate
Happy
Sweet
!
Maybe Ryan found “pass” because he wanted to pass on this activity hahah I’ve seen this image before and I think it works by you subconsciously seeking words to define yourself!
Corryn says
Restless
Graceful
Patient
Compassionate
Seem a little hypocritial, but i’ll take it 😉
Amanda H. says
Reserved, Elegant, Patient, Happy is what immediately came to me when I came here to leave a comment.
The first time I read it in Google Reader, it left me with Sentimental, Passionate, Naive, and Spoken (though I’m having trouble finding them now…curious)
Most of these words describe me for sure! I don’t always feel patient, but I apparently act it. I suppose that’s all that matters 😛
Very interesting! Loving how a former comment listed IMpatient. I didn’t even notice it till I read that!
Courtney @ Outrunning Insecurities says
Sweet
Drama
Lethargic
Naive
Hmmm… I never thought I was all that dramatic, but I’m sure that there are people out there that would beg to differ 😛 Ah well, I’ll take it.
cheryl says
i am, apparenly, a fan of “P”….I also appear to be food: Prey, Patient, Peaceful, Passion
Kerry @ Totes My Oats says
Loyal, Happy, Patient and Sweet! What a way to start the day making me feel good about myself.. although I can be kind of impatient sometimes!
Minerva says
Dependent (on coffee)
Outspoken (in my dreams?)
Honest (usually)
Courage…This is one I am working on, so hopefully it’s getting there.
Maura @ Running to Saks says
Passionate (Definitely)
Naive (Probably sometimes)
Sweet (I try..)
Courage (Something I’m working on)
….what a fun exercise! I love things like this, haha!
Lauren B. says
Reserved
Eloquent
Thoughtful
Sweet
I agree with most, but find myself to not be so eloquent sometimes! 🙂
Ciara says
Courage
Grad
Sweet
Loyal
🙂
Coco says
I am LAZY, happy, elegant, and peaceful….bahaha
Liz says
I saw genuine, dramatic, thoughtful, and elegant! I’d like to be all those things but some days are better than others 😛
allison says
The first ones I saw were happy, patient, and elegant which are pretty accurate, well more or less I strive to be elegant lol;)
I got my coffee foamer from ikea for under $5 and its my favorite thing in the morning!
Theresa says
I almost spit out my coffee at ryans answer…bahaha, thank you! 😉
i saw charming, graceful (NOT!), sincere and compassionate…some are true, hehe
Shannon says
Loyal, Courageous, Outgoing, and Elegant.
I think that loyal was the only one that fit me….maybe this will mean I will become elegant and courageous, that would be nice!
Elisabeth says
Mine were genuine, peaceful, thoughtful and insecure. I’d say those mostly describe me 😉
Gina @ Running to the Kitchen says
I saw outgoing, insecure, outspoken and thoughtful. I’d like to think the insecure one is wrong but I like (and agree) with all the others!
Kristi @ lifesprinkles says
Love, happy, peaceful, courageous – I’ll take it! 🙂
Lizzie says
The first word that I saw was “prey” so I am HOPING this is not a foolproof thing! Haha, never been my dream to be described as prey.
Laura says
I just wanted to tell you that I found your blog a month ago and absolutely love it! I love your recipes and you encourage me to be active everyday. My words were peace, serve, patient and sweet. It was a fun little game 🙂
Bobbi says
This is awesome!
My first five were time, patient, cure, serve, and dependent. I’m in medical school that those were very fitting! I also saw RN early on, but thought that wouldn’t count as a word. The only one I was disappointed in was dependent…i like to think of myself as INdependent 🙂 although these past couple year I have been relying on my friends and family much more!
Hayley @ Running Down the Runway says
Sweet, outgoing, thoughtful, passionate- not too shabby!!
Beks says
Peace, Naive and Passionate. I suppose that’s true. I hate fighting, I’m always getting told how gullible I am (not as much now that I’m older, but when I was a kid, I believed ANYTHING!), and passionate. The last one has to do with a blog I wrote last night about why I do what I do, so that one REALLY resonated with me.
I’ve been seeing this all over Facebook lately, so this was kind of fun to actually do it (I usually just passed it over).
Bobbi says
oh! it was first four. perfect. scratch dependent 🙂
Amber @ Bring In-The-Pink says
Mine were love, passionate, sweet, and restless.
Such a fun game – I’m definitely going to pass this on and see what my friends and family see!
Amber @ Busy, Bold, Blessed says
Happy, peace(ful), talented, passionate… if you say so 🙂
Cammy says
Passionate
Outgoing
Outspoken
Sweet
Liza says
Haha, Ryan’s “time” was “senTIMEntal” in disguise!
Christine says
Sweet
Go
Happy
Out
How fun! I wonder if it’s because we subconsciously look for words we like. I think a lot of people saw ‘sweet’. Must be in a really prominent eye catching spot!
Nikki @only25hoursinaday says
I’m not sure I like this – I’m jealous of everyone’s positive words.
Mine=
RAGE
DEPENDENT
INSECURE
RESTLESS
PASSIONATE
No joke. I always took myself as a positive person!
Yellow Haired Girl says
Passionate, Thoughtful, Restless, Naive.
ALL true 🙂
Brooke says
Genuine
Sweet
Dependent
Sentimental
I must agree:) This was fun …and your bagel-wiches always look so delicious!! Hope you have a great Thursday!
Shannon says
Peaceful, Drama, Restless, Genuine 🙂
Mary says

joelle (on a pink typewriter) says

Devin says
Lazy (sadly yes),happy :), patient (Not!), passionate
Jaime says
Happy, patient, genuine, peaceful. I’m not so sure about those words!
Mallory says
Loyal, Love, Spoken, Peace !
Lina says
I got peaceful, dramatic, naive & passionate.
Well, let’s say that I wish the first word was more accurate and the other three a bit less. =)
Betsy says
Genuine, elegant, peaceful, mental. That’s SPOT ON, with “mental’ referring to my tendency to over-think things and ruminate on problems! Weird.
Kari says
Okay, I seriously laughed out loud after reading how Ryan saw the word “cot” – too funny!
Stephanie says
Okay I was worried when the first word I saw was “Help” I was like uhhh is that bad? Then I went down to see if it was part of a word and found Helpful.. Much better! 🙂
Lindsay says
Elegant, patient, happy, lazy. Ha!
Sara says
One of the words I saw was “patient.” I tried it on my fiance, then told him my results. He said it can’t be true since I’m the least patient person ever! 🙂
