Pictures from the Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot that we did last week were posted and it’s official… I’m a tool. But at least I’m married to another one, right?
Non-Workout
When the alarm went off at 5 a.m. today, I rolled over in bed and convinced Ryan to sleep in.
Someone else was very happy with this decision.
Sometimes sleep just takes precedence over a good workout. I think I may take a lunchtime yoga class, but we’ll see. A long walk with Sadie just may be my workout for the day!
Breakfast
Breakfast this morning was a warm and tasty egg sandwich.
I topped two pieces of honey wheat toast with muenster cheese, raspberry jelly and two fried eggs.
Hope your day is off to a wonderful start!

Awww! Sadie looks so comfy! Today was definitely hard to get out of bed. It’s freezing here in PA. I could have used an extra hour to sleep in.
Your breakfast sandwich looks very tasty! 🙂
Annette @ EnjoyYourHealthyLife says
I love LOVE sleeping in. Especially when the body reallly needs it! Feels SO good. Workouts can always happen–feeling like you got enough sleep can not be beat!
Love eggs in the a.m.!!! 🙂

Sleeping in…one of life’s simplest pleasures.
Dressing up like a turkey…also one of life’s simplest pleasures.

I wanted to sleep in soooo bad this morning, but something inside me said “get the hell up…the holidays are right around the corner…you’ll have plenty of time to sleep then!” LOL Soooo needless to say, I dragged my booty outta bed!
But you’re right, it’s good to sleep in every once in a while! 😉
chelsea says
You guys are just too cute! Non of my races have been taking pictures or having photographers lately and it makes me sad 🙁 Even though I never actually pay for them haha (other than my first ever race).
Lena @ Fit on the Rocks says
I really need to force myself to wake up earlier to make myself one of your egg and jelly sandwiches. They look so good, but I have a hard time waking up earlier than 5:30 just for breakfast, so I usually just make oatmeal once I get to work.
Carley says
Right on sista! Sometimes the only choice is more sleep. After all it is essential to building those muscles up 🙂
Cat @Breakfast to Bed says
when you guys have kids, you’re going to have some kind of FULL BED.

The costumes are so cute! How’d you end up doing in the race? Hopefully it wasn’t as hot and humid as it was during the half marathon you ran in St. Pete!
peanutbutterfingers says
it was MUCH more temperate! we finished in 52-53 min!
Samantha says
LOVE your costumes! My sister didn’t want to dress up for our turkey trot. Next year I’m making her!
I check your blog a lot (I love it! so many good ideas!) but I’ve become curious, how do you make your eggs? I’ve never quite seen eggs come out like that, but they look handy to put into sandwiches!
peanutbutterfingers says
i just fry them over a medium heat and crack the yolks in the beginning, flipping them once!
Amber K says
Aw, I love the cute goober-ish picture of you two. Perfect match 🙂
